Used To
Maria used to work in a bank. She used to wake up at six every morning and commute for ninety minutes. She used to wear a suit every day. She did not use to have any flexibility in her schedule. Five years ago, she switched careers and became a freelance graphic designer. Now her life is very different. She works from home, wakes up when she wants, and wears comfortable clothes. She does not commute anymore. Sometimes she misses the structure of office life, but mostly she loves her new lifestyle.
๐ก Did you know? The brain forms habits through repetition. It takes an average of 66 days to form a new habit โ not 21 days as the popular myth suggests. Some habits take up to 254 days.
