Will - Future
Laura is on a call with a client. The client says the delivery is late. Laura says: 'I will check the status immediately.' The client is worried. Laura says: 'I promise it will arrive by Thursday. I won't let this happen again.' After the call, her colleague asks if she needs help. 'Yes please,' she says. 'Will you call the courier?' 'Of course I will,' he replies. Together, they will solve the problem.
๐ก Did you know? 'Won't' is a strange contraction - it doesn't come from 'will not' logically. It comes from an old word 'woll' that became 'woll not' and then 'won't' over centuries!
