Sport and Exercise
Carlos loves sport. He plays football with friends every Saturday morning. He also goes running three times a week before work. On Wednesday evenings, he does yoga to relax and stretch after a busy day. He is very fit and full of energy. He says: 'Exercise is not just good for your body — it helps your mind too. When I go running, I solve problems and get creative ideas. After yoga, I feel calm and focused. Playing football is great for teamwork — exactly the same skills I use at work.' His company has a sports day every summer. Last year, Carlos's team won the five-a-side football tournament.
💡 Did you know? Spain is one of the most sporting nations in Europe. Over 15 million Spaniards regularly participate in sport. Spain has won multiple Olympic gold medals, football World Cups, and cycling Grand Tours.
